In Week 30 (July 26–August 1, 2021), overall activity at SOS Médecins clinics remained stable among adults and declined among children (-13%, or -2,328 procedures). The increase in medical procedures for suspected COVID-19 across all age groups continued for the fourth consecutive week, though at a less pronounced rate than in Week 29 (+8%, or +155 procedures, vs. +35%, or +515 procedures, in Week 29). This increase is also observed in the share of activity (3.4% in Week 30 vs. 2.9% in Week 29) and across all age groups. At the regional level, SOS Médecins medical procedures for suspected COVID-19 are on the rise in all regions except Grand-Est, Île-de-France, Occitanie, and Pays de la Loire. The sharpest increases in numbers are observed in PACA (+29%, or +87 procedures), Martinique (+30%, or +62 procedures), Hauts-de-France (+34%, or +40 procedures), and Corsica (+103%, or +36 procedures). Since monitoring began on March 3, 2020, 232,426 medical procedures for suspected COVID-19 have been performed. After an increase in most seasonal indicators in week 29, these were all stable or declining in week 30, notably heatstroke (-79% vs. +318% in week 29) and insect bites (-30% vs. +36% in week 29). Among the most common conditions, there was an increase in procedures for urinary tract infections in adults aged 15 and older (+9%, or +184 procedures).
