SOS Médecins activity remained stable over the past week both nationally and regionally, with case numbers similar to those in 2012 and 2011. There was a slight decrease in activity among children under 15. The asthma attack indicator rose slightly (+18%, 237 weekly cases), with low numbers falling between those of 2012 and 2011. This trend was observed in the North, Northeast, Central-East, and Southwest regions. This slight increase applies to children under 5 years of age (+85%, 37 cases per week) and those aged 15 and older (+29%, 163 cases per week). The allergy indicator is stable, with numbers comparable to those in 2011 and 2012. However, there has been an increase in cases among those aged 15 and older (+16%, 285 weekly cases). The gastroenteritis indicator is also stable, with numbers close to those of 2012 and 2011. A slight increase is noted among those aged 75 and older (+14%, 104 weekly cases).
Seasonal indicators: Calls to SOS Médecins for heatstroke and dehydration continue to decline across all age groups, with 84 weekly cases (-52%) and 140 cases over the period (-23%), respectively. The numbers are comparable to those of 2012 and slightly higher than in 2011. The indicator for general malaise is down slightly across all age groups (-11%, 254 weekly cases), with numbers comparable to 2012 and slightly higher than in 2011.The main conditions reported across all age groups are strep throat (2,047 cases), gastroenteritis (1,736 cases), and ear infections (1,648 cases).
