Overall Activity Trends: Over the past week, activity at SOS Médecins clinics decreased by 11% for children under 15 (-1,160 visits), remained stable for adults aged 15 to 74, and increased by 11% for those over 75 (+687 visits). The numbers are similar to those in 2012 and 2013.

Trends in Major ConditionsThe most common conditions are stable or declining across all age groups except among those over 75, where the 10 most common conditions are on the rise, consistent with the increase in overall activity for this age group. These increases are observed in all French regions and are not related to the heat. The sharpest increases are those related to deterioration in general health (+70 visits), deaths (+57 visits), and bronchitis (+53 visits). These increases are consistent with trends from previous years.

Trends in Seasonal Indicators Visits for asthma attacks are decreasing across all age groups. With 272 weekly visits (-66 visits across all age groups compared to last week), the numbers are equivalent to those observed in 2012 and 2013. Visits for allergies remained stable over the past week, except among those aged 75 and older (+24 visits). The figures remain higher than those from 2012 and 2013 during this period. Visits for insect bites remained stable across all age groups (-1%, or -6 visits across all ages). The total number of visits (558 weekly visits) is higher than in 2012 and 2013. Visits for general malaise and isolated fever are stable across all age groups, with figures similar to those in 2012 and 2013.Visits for heat-related conditions (heatstroke, dehydration) have declined for the third consecutive week across all age groups (-59%, or -23 visits for heatstroke across all ages), with numbers at low levels for the season.
