For the week of March 27 to April 2, 2012, activity at SOS Médecin clinics remained stable nationwide and was comparable to the same period last year; however, there was a slight increase among 5- to 14-year-olds (+10%).Diagnoses and reasons for calls related to asthma attacks are on the rise for those aged 5–74 and account for 1% of the associations’ overall activity. Activity related to this indicator is higher than last year for the same period. This trend is comparable to that observed in the emergency departments of the OSCOUR® network.The allergy indicator is also on the rise; for the 5- to 74-year-old age groups, this condition accounts for nearly 2% of the associations’ overall activity, a higher level than last year for the same period.Activity related to gastroenteritis continues to decline, with patient numbers comparable to last year’s levels for the same period. The influenza indicator is down across all age groups (-33%); data not shown. The measles indicator is stable over the period. The mortality indicator is stable over the period.
