Over the past week, the workload of doctors with the SOS Médecins network remained stable nationwide across all age groups, with patient numbers comparable to those of the 2010–2011 and 2011–2012 periods for the same timeframe. There was a slight decrease in activity among 2- to 14-year-olds (-11%). Regionally, activity is stable and in some cases slightly down (Northern and Western regions). The asthma attack indicator is stable across all age groups, accounting for less than 1% of the associations’ total activity, with numbers remaining this week at a level higher than during the 2010–2011 and 2011–2012 seasons for the same period. The allergy indicator is on the rise, particularly among children aged 5 to 14 and those aged 15 to 74 (1.6% of the associations’ activity). This trend is comparable to 2011 and higher than 2012 for the same period. The gastroenteritis indicator is down (-16%, 2,351 weekly diagnoses, 5% of SOS Médecins activity) across all age groups, with numbers comparable to 2012 and higher than 2011 for the same period. The measles indicator remains stable at a low level. The death indicator is stable, comparable to 2012 and higher than in 2011 for the same period.Common conditions (ENT conditions, gastroenteritis, etc.) are stable or declining across all age groups; however, there has been an increase in chickenpox diagnoses among children under 15 (+24%, 385 cases) for the second consecutive week.
