In Week 16 (April 17–23, 2023), the second week of school vacation, activity at SOS Médecins clinics declined among children and adults aged 15–74 and remained stable among those aged 75 and older.

All respiratory indicators are down, although levels remain high compared to previous years for ENT conditions and asthma (among adults only).

Procedures for suspected COVID-19 are down across all age groups except for those aged 75 and older (+15%, or +27 procedures). Most other indicators are also down, with the exception of:

• chickenpox among children (+10%, or +65 cases), at a level comparable to previous years

• among those aged 75 and older, an increase in procedures for general malaise (+24%, or +11 procedures), heart failure (+21%, or +33 procedures), and trauma (+15%, or +48 procedures).

Regarding mental health, there was an increase in cases among those aged 75 and older for anxiety (+12%, or +22 cases).
