Summary

  • Emergency room visits and hospitalizations are up 4% and 3%, respectively, among adults under 75.

  • After two weeks at low levels, heat-related visits are on the rise among children aged 2–14 and adults under 75, among whom an increase in hospitalizations is also noted, but remain stable among children under 2 and adults over 75. The numbers are significantly lower than those in June–July 2015.

  • Visits and hospitalizations for malaise, isolated fever, and contact with venomous animals are up 10–20% among adults under 75, with higher-than-expected numbers for malaise.

  • Visits for allergies are up 15% among adults, with numbers higher than expected.
