Changing perceptions of sexuality and disability.
The Vaucluse Family Planning Association received an award from the Fondation de France for its program "Handicap et alors ?" (So What If There's a Disability?), which addresses the topics of disability and sexuality. The program includes training for professionals, support for people with disabilities, prevention initiatives, and support groups for parents. One of the key objectives is to change the perspective of professionals, parents, and service providers—and thus society as a whole—on a subject that remains largely taboo. Interview with Jeannine Langleur, director of the Vaucluse Family Planning Association and head of the “Handicap et alors ?” program, and Christine Legrand, marriage and family counselor at the Vaucluse Family Planning Association.
