Key Points
From May 1 to November 30 each year, Santé publique France coordinates, in conjunction with the relevant Regional Health Agencies (ARS), enhanced seasonal surveillance of chikungunya, dengue, and Zika in mainland France.
In Occitanie, since May 1, 2022, 36 imported cases of dengue have been confirmed, including 15 from Cuba. Two imported cases of Zika (Thailand) and two imported cases of chikungunya (Indonesia) have also been identified.

Nationwide, from May 1 to September 30, 2022, the following were confirmed:
203 imported cases of dengue,
17 imported cases of chikungunya,

Since the start of the season, 59 locally transmitted cases of dengue have been documented: 47 cases in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region (1 cluster of 7 cases in the Var department and 2 clusters of 32 and 8 cases in the Alpes-Maritimes department); 12 cases in Occitanie.
