Influenza and influenza-like illness
In week 48, the Occitanie region was not yet in the pre-epidemic/epidemic phase, particularly due to the low proportion of influenza viruses in the virological activity of university hospitals. However, syndrome-based indicators were on the rise in community practice, though the influenza etiology was not certain. Six regions of mainland France are in the pre-epidemic phase this week, mostly in the eastern part of the country.
