  • Very low number of reported cases in 2020 and 2021 in the region, most likely linked to the COVID-19 pandemic;

  • Low number of cases linked to travel outside mainland France compared to previous years;

  • The sex ratio was close to 1, and more than half of the cases were over 45 years of age;

  • A peak was observed in 2017 in Nouvelle-Aquitaine as well as in France (European outbreak among MSM).

Listeriosis [latest data available: 2021]

  • Low number of reported cases in the region in 2021;

  • The majority of cases were aged 70 and older;

  • Number of reports has remained relatively stable over the past ten years.

Botulism [latest data available: 2021]

  • Low number of reported cases in the region in recent years.
