Mortality: Over the past three weeks, the number of deaths among all age groups and those aged 75 and older has been declining. In S13, the numbers recorded in sentinel municipalities are approaching the expected values for this period.
Emergency room visits by vulnerable populationsNo significant changes to note: activity related to emergency room visits by vulnerable populations (75 years and older and under 1 year of age) remains below alert thresholds.
Reportable Diseases (MDO) No notable changes this week.
Carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning as of 03/31/13 Nationally, 1,147 cases of poisoning since 09/01/12, including 39 deaths. In Aquitaine, no reports of CO poisoning cases over the past 3 weeks.
Acute gastroenteritis (AGE) and AGE outbreaks in nursing homesNationally, the number of consultations for gastroenteritis (SOS Médecins, Oscour®) has increased slightly across all age groups. In Aquitaine, the number remains stable and below alert thresholds.
Influenza and outbreaks of acute respiratory infections (ARI) in nursing homes: All indicators continue to decline.
BronchiolitisActivity is stable or even decreasing among SOS Médecins associations and the AquiRespi network, which treated 40 children during the on-call period of April 6 and 7.
Chickenpox: Low activity in Aquitaine according to the Sentinelles® network and SOS Médecins.
School absenteeism: The overall school absenteeism rate remains stable in week 14.
