Flu-like Illnesses and Acute Respiratory Infections
In both hospital and outpatient settings, indicators of healthcare utilization for influenza-like illness were declining in the Île-de-France region across all age groups for the sixth consecutive week.
The distribution of influenza virus types and subtypes has not undergone any major changes in recent weeks.
Acute Gastroenteritis (AGE)
Stabilization in emergency department visits but a slight increase in visits followed by hospitalization for AGE across all age groups; Increase in both of these indicators among those under 15, primarily among children under 5: 80% of AGE-related emergency department visits involve children under 5.
Stabilization in the number of AGE-related visits at SOS Médecins across all age groups.
Stabilization of the incidence rate for acute diarrhea consultations among sentinel physicians.
In S11, activity in emergency departments and at SOS Médecins for acute gastroenteritis remained at a high level and exceeded the trends from 2024 during the same period of the year. The 2025 rates are the highest for the 2022–2025 period.
COVID-19
SOS Médecins: In Week 11, the number of cases for suspected COVID-19 decreased across all age groups. Case numbers remained low.
Emergency room visits: In Week 11, the number of visits for suspected COVID-19 decreased following a slight increase in Week 10. This was observed across all age groups, with the exception of those aged 45–64. Case numbers remained low.
SARS-CoV-2 in wastewater: Detection levels in wastewater increased slightly in Week 11, though the situation remained heterogeneous. The overall intensity of viral circulation remained low.
