Flu-like Illnesses and Acute Respiratory Infections
In hospitals, the number of emergency department visits for flu-like illness was decreasing among those under 15 and stable among those over 15. The number of hospitalizations following an emergency department visit continued to decline across all age groups.
In the community, the number of SOS Médecins calls for flu-like illness was declining across all age groups. The indicators were gradually returning to their baseline levels.
Acute Gastroenteritis
In S15, activity in emergency departments and at SOS Médecins for acute gastroenteritis had risen to a high level, still above the 2024 trends for the same period of the year. The 2025 rates are the highest for the 2022–2025 period.
COVID-19
SOS Médecins: The number of cases for suspected COVID-19 remained stable across all age groups. Case numbers remained low.
Emergency room visits: The number of visits for suspected COVID-19 increased slightly among those over 65. However, case numbers remained low.
SARS-CoV-2 in wastewater: Detection levels in wastewater continued to rise in S15, though there was significant variability in virological indicators in wastewater depending on the treatment plant.
Asthma
Increase in the number of emergency department visits and the number of visits followed by hospitalization for asthma in Week 15, compared to Week 14, among those aged 15 and older.
Increase in the number of asthma-related visits to SOS Médecins among those aged 15 and older and stabilization among those aged 2–14.
