Epidemiological indicators of acute respiratory infections (ARI) remained at a high level in primary care and hospital emergency departments, reflecting widespread circulation of ARI in French Guiana.

Over the past two weeks (W50 and W51), the number of emergency department visits for bronchiolitis in infants decreased gradually but remained at a high level, while the number of visits to primary care clinics remained stable: the outbreak has been ongoing for ten weeks. At the same time, epidemiological indicators for influenza were rising in emergency departments and primary care clinics: the influenza outbreak began three weeks ago. Finally, regarding COVID-19, the number of emergency department visits and primary care clinic visits was also on the rise.
