COVID-19
In Week 10-2023, the incidence rate increased compared to the previous week: 76 cases per 100,000 inhabitants (compared to 50 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 9-2023);
The incidence rate is rising across all age groups. The sharpest increase is observed among those aged 0–9 (+94%). The highest incidence rate is observed among those aged 80 and older (142 cases per 100,000 inhabitants);
The positivity rate (13%) is up compared to the previous week;
The testing rate is 576 tests per 100,000 inhabitants in week 10 of 2023; it has increased by 25% among those aged 0–9 and remains stable in other age groups.
Bronchiolitis
OSCOUR®: In week 09-2023, the proportion of emergency department visits related to bronchiolitis among children under 2 years of age continued to decline. It stands at 3.9%, or 49 visits. The proportion of hospitalizations for bronchiolitis among all hospitalizations following an emergency department visit is also decreasing, falling below 10% in week 09-2023;
SOS Médecins: In week 10-2023, the proportion of cases handled by SOS Médecins related to bronchiolitis in children under 2 years of age was 3.9%, down from week 09-2023; however, fluctuations are often observed during this period.
Influenza and Influenza-Like Illnesses
OSCOUR®: In week 10-2023, the number of emergency department visits for influenza-like illness, all ages, remained stable compared to the previous week (249 versus 231 in week 09-2023). The proportion of cases was also stable, with 1.1% of emergency department visits related to influenza.
SOS Médecins: The number of consultations for flu-like illness, across all age groups, increased compared to the previous week (643 consultations versus 604 in W09-2023), representing 9.5% of total activity.
Acute Gastroenteritis
OSCOUR®: The number of emergency department visits for acute gastroenteritis (AGI) across all age groups has remained generally stable in recent weeks, with 327 visits in Week 10-2023, representing 1.4% of total activity.
SOS Médecins: The number of consultations for acute gastroenteritis across all age groups and the associated share of activity have been increasing since week 07-2023. In week 10-2023, there were 626 visits, representing a 9.2% share of activity.
