The incidence rate has risen slightly but remains below 50 cases per 100,000 residents for the fourth consecutive week (with 36 cases per 100,000 residents compared to 32 in S06-2023);

The positivity rate (6.2%) follows a similar trend across all age groups
The testing rate is 576 tests per 100,000 inhabitants in week 07-2023, decreasing across all age groups.
Bronchiolitis
OSCOUR®: In week 07-2023, the proportion of emergency department visits related to bronchiolitis among children under 2 years of age remained stable. It stood at 5.7%, representing 84 visits. The proportion of hospitalizations for bronchiolitis among all hospitalizations following an emergency department visit remained stable at 16% in week 07-2023.
SOS Médecins: In week 07-2023, the proportion of SOS Médecins cases related to bronchiolitis in children under 2 years of age was 4.3%, a slight increase compared to week 06-2023.
Virology data: According to results from the virology laboratories at the University Hospitals of Nancy, Reims, and Strasbourg, in week 07-2023, the circulation of RSV (respiratory syncytial virus) continues to decline.
Influenza and influenza-like illnesses
OSCOUR®: In week 07-2023, the number of emergency department visits for flu-like illness, across all ages, increased compared to the previous week (536 versus 398 in week 06-2023). The proportion of flu-related cases rose slightly, with 2.3% of emergency department visits attributed to the flu.
SOS Médecins: The number of consultations for flu-like illness, across all age groups, has increased compared to the previous week (827 consultations versus 756 in W06-2023), representing 12.8% of total activity.
Acute Gastroenteritis
Oscour®: The number of emergency department visits for acute gastroenteritis (AGE) across all age groups increased in week 07-2023 compared to week 06-2023 (343 versus 276 in week 06-2023), representing 1.4% of activity. The proportion of hospitalizations for acute gastroenteritis among all hospitalizations following an emergency department visit is 0.8%.
SOS Médecins: The number of consultations for GEA across all age groups decreased in week 07-2023 compared to week 06-2023 (479 versus 604 in W06-2023), representing 7.4% of total activity. There were 2 hospitalizations for GEA following a SOS Médecins consultation in week 07-2023 (compared to 3 hospitalizations in week 06-2023).
Virology data: According to data from the virology laboratories at the University Hospitals of Nancy, Reims, and Strasbourg, the circulation of enteric viruses is increasing slightly and is primarily due to norovirus.
