Key Highlights

  • For the past two weeks, the number of allergy diagnoses recorded by emergency departments has remained stable at 139 per week, representing 1.3% of all diagnoses. In week 35, activity related to these conditions remained low for the SOS Médecins Meurthe-et-Moselle association, with 9 weekly diagnoses. This condition accounts for less than 1.5% of the association’s activity.

  • For several weeks now, the weekly number of recorded asthma diagnoses has remained low for both data sources, but within the usual range of fluctuations. In week 35, this condition accounted for less than 0.5% of activity at emergency departments in Lorraine and less than 1% of that at the SOS Médecins Meurthe-et-Moselle association.

  • According to the National Aerobiological Surveillance Network (RNSA), the allergy risk from grass pollen is very low in the four departments of Lorraine.

  • In week 35, the number of heat-related illness diagnoses recorded by the emergency departments in Lorraine and the SOS Médecins Meurthe-et-Moselle association remains low; 31 weekly diagnoses were made by the emergency departments in Lorraine and 1 by the SOS Médecins Meurthe-et-Moselle association. This activity represents less than 0.5% of the activity of these two organizations.

  • According to available data, no unusual increase in mortality has been observed in Lorraine over the past 4 weeks. Since the time lag for reporting death data exceeds 7 days, data for week 35 is currently being consolidated.
