Key Points

COVID-19

  • Low activity, stable incidence rate, and a decline in data from hospital and community emergency departments.

  • Oscour®: Stable number of visits compared to the previous week (136 visits in Week 43 vs. 144 in Week 42); 53% of these visits resulted in hospitalization.

  • SOS Médecins: Stable number of SOS Médecins consultations compared to the previous week (109 consultations in Week 43 versus 117 in Week 42).

Bronchiolitis

  • Epidemic activity.

  • Oscour®: increase in the number of emergency room visits for bronchiolitis compared to the previous week (160 in Week 43 vs. 114 in Week 42).

  • SOS Médecins: increase in SOS Médecins consultations (doubling compared to Week 42).

Flu

  • Non-epidemic activity, remaining low.

  • Oscour®: indicators showing low activity related to influenza and influenza-like illnesses.

  • SOS Médecins: decrease in the number of consultations for influenza and influenza-like illnesses, with 102 consultations (compared to 123 in Week 42), representing 2.5% of total activity.

Asthma

  • High activity in hospital emergency departments among children.

  • Oscour®: slight increase in emergency room visits, with 181 visits in Week 43 (compared to 175 in Week 42), across all age groups. Children under 15 account for 71% of cases (compared to 62% in Week 42).

  • SOS Médecins: increase in the number of SOS Médecins consultations for asthma in S43 with 69 consultations (compared to 53 in S42).

Mortality

  • Since Week 02, the weekly number of deaths from all causes reported by INSEE has remained within the usual range of fluctuation (for all ages and among those aged 65 and older).
