Covid-19

• Oscour®: increase in the number of emergency room visits compared to the previous week, remaining at a low level (198 visits in W49 versus 149 in W48); 55% of these visits resulted in hospitalization. Suspected COVID-19 cases account for 1.2% of emergency room activity across all age groups.

• SOS Médecins: the upward trend in the number of SOS Médecins consultations has continued since Week 46 (136 consultations in Week 49 compared to 107 in Week 48, an increase of 27%). Across all age groups, suspected COVID-19 cases accounted for 2.9% of SOS Médecins activity in Week 49 (compared to 2.4% in Week 48).

Bronchiolitis

• Epidemic activity, peak passed.

• Decrease in the number of emergency room visits and SOS Médecins consultations.

• Detection of RSV and rhinoviruses/enteroviruses according to the virology laboratories at the Brest and Rennes university hospitals.

Gastroenteritis

• Moderate activity.

• Stable number of emergency room visits and a slight increase in SOS Médecins consultations across all age groups.

Flu

• Non-epidemic activity.

• Slight increase in SOS Médecins consultations and the number of emergency room visits.

• Low detection of influenza A virus according to the virology laboratories at the Brest and Rennes university hospitals.

Asthma

• Activity remains high despite a decrease in hospital emergency room visits and SOS Médecins consultations among children.

Pneumonia

• Unusually high SOS Médecins activity observed among children.
