Allergies: The National Aerobiological Surveillance Network (RNSA) reports an increase in ragweed pollen concentrations in the Lyon region over the course of the week, with an initial peak expected around August 15. It recommends that anyone allergic to these pollens begin treatment or consult a doctor. Several tools have been made available to facilitate greater participation in the fight against ragweed, including a smartphone app called Signalement Ambroisie (available for download on the Apple Store and Google Play) and a website (www.signalement-ambroisie.fr).
