  • Surveillance for cases of chikungunya, dengue, and Zika began on May 1: a total of 140 imported dengue cases—mostly from Martinique and Guadeloupe—and 7 cases of chikungunya have been identified in the region.

COVID-19

  • In Week 38 (September 18–24, 2023), SARS-CoV-2 circulation is increasing in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes while remaining at a moderate level. Visits to emergency departments for suspected COVID-19 are tending to stabilize at a moderate level, while SOS Médecins calls continue to rise.
