Dengue, Chikungunya, and Zika
- Since the start of enhanced surveillance (May 1), three imported cases have been identified in the region: one case of chikungunya and two cases of dengue.
- In 2025:
- More than 900 reports processed,
- Significant import pressure, mainly linked to overseas territories (more than 100 cases of chikungunya and 120 cases of dengue),
- Very active viral circulation in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur (PACA), the most affected region in mainland France (more than 450 locally acquired cases of chikungunya identified).
West Nile virus infections
- No locally acquired cases have been detected in the region, or more broadly in mainland France, since the start of enhanced surveillance (May 1).
- Active viral circulation in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur (PACA), the region most affected in mainland France
, with 30 locally acquired cases identified.
Pollen and Allergies
- Pollen exposure is low. Allergy-related activity at SOS Médecins is on the rise but remains at a level typical for the season.
