The French Institute for Public Health Surveillance (InVS) and the Occupational Health Inspection (IMT) of the Regional Directorate for Enterprises, Competition, Consumer Affairs, Labor, and Employment of Île-de-France (Direccte IDF) studied in 2012 the feasibility of implementing the Occupational Disease Surveillance System (MCP) in the region, the fifteenth to adopt the system (see Figure 1). The MCP program is part of the 2010–2014 “National and Regional Occupational Health Plans” (Axis 1 of PNST2 and PRST2: improving knowledge on occupational health). It draws on occupational medicine and the expertise of occupational physicians. (R.A.)
