November 2015 Attacks: Santé publique France Launches ESPA 13 November, a Major Online Survey of Those Affected by These Events
A major study aimed at improving the strategy to be adopted in exceptional situations
The attacks of November 13, 2015, plunged France into mourning and directly affected thousands of people. To assess the impact and the psychological and traumatic consequences of these events, Santé publique France is launching an online survey: ESPA November 13 (post-attack public health survey) from July to October 2016.
This voluntary survey is intended for people aged 16 and older who were directly involved in the November 2015 attacks:
“civilians” who were directly targeted or threatened by the terrorists and had to go into hiding, or who were direct witnesses to the attacks carried out in Saint-Denis and Paris on November 13 or the raid on November 18 in Saint-Denis,
professionals who responded to the events, including emergency services, law enforcement, organizations, municipal services, and healthcare providers, who were tasked with securing or restoring the sites, or caring for those with physical or psychological injuries,
those who have lost a loved one, or whose loved ones were physically injured or directly threatened by the terrorists.
