Can health education in schools help reduce social inequalities in health?

These researchers are cautious in their conclusions, as there is a lack of sufficiently compelling evidence due to the limited research in this field. Nevertheless, they conclude that the results “tend to show” that health education initiatives can improve students’ academic performance and health, and, if certain conditions are met, may potentially reduce inequalities.
