Weekly Epidemiological Bulletin, Special Issue: Health Recommendations for Travelers, 2017
These recommendations were developed by the Committee on Travel-Related and Imported Diseases and adopted by the High Council for Public Health. They take into account, in particular, the 2017 Vaccination Schedule, data from the National Reference Center for Malaria, the National Reference Center for Arboviruses, and Santé publique France, as well as, for vaccines and medications, the French National Agency for Medicines and Health Products Safety (ANSM). They apply to all travelers, regardless of their destination and travel conditions. They emphasize the importance, in the prevention of travel-related diseases, of vaccination, malaria chemoprophylaxis, protective measures against mosquitoes and other arthropods, food hygiene, and handwashing.
