Survival of Cancer Patients in Metropolitan France, 1989–2018 - Chronic Myeloproliferative Disorders Other Than Chronic Myeloid Leukemia
In France, for the year 2018, the estimated number of new cases of chronic myeloproliferative syndromes, excluding chronic myeloid leukemia, was 3,762, including 1,824 in men and 1,938 in women. Key points: Standardized net survival of 97% at 1 year and 85% at 5 years for individuals diagnosed between 2010 and 2015; Difference in 5-year net survival by age at diagnosis: 98% at age 40 and 77% at age 80; Better 5-year survival in women compared to men among those aged 60 and older; No change in survival between 2005 and 2015 regardless of age at diagnosis and duration of follow-up.
