FISP Day. Public Health Intervention Fund. Conference Proceedings, November 2–3, 1999
In late 1992, public health received an exceptional budget allocation of 100 million francs, known as the Public Health Intervention Fund. An initial funding allocation process, conducted through a call for proposals, made it possible to fund 86 projects. Since the entire 1992 budget allocation could not be distributed, a second allocation process for 24 million francs was implemented, resulting in the selection of 46 projects in 1996 on the themes of tobacco, alcohol, and health and social vulnerability. The objectives of the FISP II conference are as follows: - initial results and promotion of projects (presentation of content, visibility of programs) - reflection on the methods used, monitoring, and evaluation procedures - analysis of systems: coordination between different programs, consistency of objectives and funding, complementarity between FISP and Regional Health Programs.
