For urban planning that promotes the well-being of city dwellers

Today's cities, where half the world's population is concentrated, do not provide their residents with a good quality of life. There are many risk factors for mental health: pollution, overcrowding, noise, social isolation, and more. Bringing nature into urban environments is a first step, but landscape diversity, access to local services, culture, and recreation, as well as lively, well-lit spaces where residents feel engaged, are just as crucial for mental resilience.
