When alcohol companies' marketing shapes behavior and public policy

Health behaviors are strongly influenced by the business practices of alcohol manufacturers, who operate on multiple levels. Their lobbying of public authorities is effective in undermining any measures aimed at reducing consumption of their products, as demonstrated by the setbacks suffered by the Évin Law. Keywords: Marketing, lobbying, Évin Law, manufacturers, behaviors, public health.
