Promoting Mental Health During the COVID-19 Pandemic: Introduction to the Report
The articles in this special issue explore the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the mental health of various populations—including healthcare workers, older adults, and students—living and working in different settings (nursing homes, hospitals, etc.). These articles also highlight how the pandemic and the measures taken to contain it may have specifically affected certain populations during the initial surge, throughout lockdowns, and in the aftermath of this prolonged crisis. They address the debates surrounding the ethical and political issues raised by the pandemic.
