Division of Infectious Diseases - Unit for Healthcare-Associated Infections and Antibiotic Resistance
Within the NOA unit, the recruited scientific project manager will be responsible for contributing to, implementing, or coordinating activities related to the surveillance of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) in healthcare facilities (HCFs) and long-term care facilities (LTCFs).
Under the supervision of the unit head, the successful candidate will coordinate the preparation and implementation of the national prevalence survey of HAIs and antimicrobial use in acute care healthcare facilities, as part of the European project coordinated by the ECDC (PPS-4: Point Prevalence Surveys of Healthcare-Associated Infections and Antimicrobial Use in European Acute Care Hospitals). In this context, they will be responsible for carrying out the following activities:
Depending on changes in the agency’s programming priorities and needs, the research officer may be asked to contribute, within their area of expertise, to other topics within the unit related to the surveillance of healthcare-associated infections.
In this context, they may, in particular, participate in international meetings and working groups coordinated by the ECDC. Finally, they will participate in Santé publique France’s on-call duties and contribute to any actions falling within the Agency’s remit if necessary in a crisis situation.
