Volume I focuses on the basic skills that help strengthen one’s ability to understand and accept oneself and others.
It covers the first three general CPS:
Cognitive Social-Emotional Skills: STRENGTHENING SELF-AWARENESS (C1)
These include 6 specific cognitive psychosocial skills:
- C1.1: Increasing self-knowledge and C1.2: Thinking critically
- C1.3: Understanding one’s values, needs, and personal goals, and C1.4: Making constructive decisions
- C1.5: Evaluating oneself positively
- C1.6: Strengthen one’s full attention
Emotional Competencies
These encompass two specific emotional CPS:
Social Skills
These encompass three specific social CPS:
- S1.1: Communicating effectively and positively
- S1.2: Communicating with empathy
- S1.3: Build relationships and develop prosocial behaviors
