Complete your public declaration of interest

Given Santé publique France’s status as a public administrative institution and the significance of the issues that may be associated with its opinions and recommendations, the principles of independence, impartiality, and confidentiality must be upheld.

In accordance with Articles L.1451-1 through 4 of the Public Health Code, which stem from Law No. 2011-2012 of December 29, 2011, on strengthening the safety of medicines and health products, Santé publique France has implemented a public declaration of interests to ensure that individuals who assist the agency do not have any interests that could compromise its independence.

This declaration applies to the agency’s staff as well as to external experts and collaborators, particularly in the context of the agency’s committees. It covers all direct or indirect conflicts of interest related to the agency’s area of competence that could give rise to a risk of conflict of interest or highlight an incompatibility between the work performed for Santé publique France and the external activities of an internal or external collaborator.

Public declarations of interest must be submitted on the DPI-SANTE centralized ministerial website.

Public declarations of interest are published on the DPI-SANTE portal; archives of declarations previously filed on behalf of Santé publique France are available on the Santé publique France website.

Santé publique France has developed a framework for analyzing the public declarations of interests submitted by external collaborators involved in the agency’s work. The analysis of conflicts of interest is based on two main criteria: first, the nature of the declared conflicts of interest and their relationship to the scope of the work in question; and second, the intensity of these conflicts in light of the committee’s assigned tasks or the specific activities requested.
