Key Points
In week 34 (August 18–24, 2025), activity at SOS Médecins clinics remained stable among those aged 15–74 and declined in other age groups: a 9% decrease (1,505 fewer visits) among those under 15, and an 8% decrease (645 fewer visits) among those aged 75 and older.
An increase in cases was observed for gastroenteritis among children under two years of age (+16%, or +36 cases) and among those aged 15–74 (+5%, or +134 cases), as well as for acute abdominal pain among those aged 75 and older (+13%, or +23 cases).
Among indicators related to dermatological conditions, there was an increase in the number of procedures for fungal infections among children under two years of age (+43%, or +23 procedures), and for impetigo among those aged 2–14 (+10%, or +54 procedures).
Regarding respiratory conditions, there was an increase in visits for coughs among adults (+9%, or +258 visits) and, to a lesser extent, for asthma among those aged 15–74 (+5%, or +19 visits). There was also an increase in cases involving suspected COVID-19 among children (+19%, or +11 cases) and among those aged 15–74 (+21%, or +111 cases), though numbers remain low.
Mental health indicators, meanwhile, showed an increase in consultations for:
anxiety among those aged 15–44 (+7%, or 64 additional cases) and among those aged 45–64 (+12%, or 35 additional cases);
depression among those aged 15–44 (+22%, or 44 cases) and those aged 45 and older (+11%, or 13 cases).
