Allergies

• Due to a late heat wave, ragweed pollen is present but on the decline, with a moderate allergy risk for several departments in the region.

Bronchiolitis

• After an increase in recent weeks, emergency room visits and SOS Médecins calls for bronchiolitis in children under 2 have stabilized, remaining below epidemic levels.

Chikungunya, dengue, Zika

• 144 imported cases of dengue, mostly from Martinique and Guadeloupe, and 8 cases of chikungunya have been identified in the region. The first three locally acquired cases of dengue this season in the ARA were identified in the Drôme.

COVID-19

• In week 39 (September 25–October 1, 2023), SARS-CoV-2 circulation is increasing in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes while remaining at a moderate level. The number of people testing positive for SARS-CoV-2 in the lab is rising very slightly, while visits to emergency rooms for suspected COVID-19 and SOS Médecins calls are increasing more sharply.
