COVID-19
Despite a slowdown, SARS-CoV-2 continues to circulate widely throughout the region, with the number of people currently hospitalized continuing to rise, albeit at a more moderate pace.
The BA.5 sublineage has been on the rise and has been the dominant strain since week S24; it accounts for 89.7% of interpretable sequences in the Flash S27 survey (67.8% for Flash S26); increase in the proportion of samples carrying the L452 mutation (69% in S28 vs. 68% in S27).
Increase in the number of deaths (ESMS and hospital-reported), decrease in the number of emergency department visits for suspected COVID-19, and in new hospitalizations and admissions to intensive care for COVID-19.

Gastroenteritis and acute diarrhea: activity was low and stable at SOS Médecins and moderate and increasing in hospital emergency departments.
Chickenpox: activity on the rise at SOS Médecins and hospital emergency departments
Allergies: activity on the rise at SOS Médecins and in hospital emergency departments
Asthma: activity on the rise at SOS Médecins and slightly down in hospital emergency departments
Air quality: moderate to poor for this weekend
Heat-related illnesses: activity on the rise at SOS Médecins and hospital emergency departments.
In week 27, a significant excess of all-cause mortality across all age groups and among those aged 65 and older was observed at the regional level and in the Eure-et-Loir department.
