COVID-19

  • Decrease in visits to community urgent care centers and hospital emergency departments.

Bronchiolitis

  • Slight decrease in the number of emergency room visits for bronchiolitis and the associated visit rate compared to Week 39.

  • Decrease in the number of SOS Médecins consultations compared to Week 39.

Pneumonia

  • Pneumonia activity similar to 2023 levels (same period) for hospital emergency departments and higher for community-based emergency departments.

Influenza

  • Activity outside of an epidemic, very low.

  • Resumption of seasonal surveillance in Week 40.

Asthma

  • Further decline in the number of emergency department visits in week 40.

  • Decrease in the number of SOS Médecins consultations for asthma in week 40.
