Key Points

Respiratory disease

  • Activity remains higher than in the same period of previous years, particularly among young people.

  • Oscour®: stable use of emergency services with 293 visits in Q12 (compared to 297 visits in Q11).

  • SOS Médecins: slight increase in the number of SOS Médecins consultations for pneumonia in Q12 (105 consultations compared to 89 in Q11, a 18% increase).

Flu

  • Activity outside of an epidemic.

  • Continued downward trend in SOS Médecins consultations and emergency room visits.

Gastroenteritis and acute diarrhea

  • Moderate activity.

  • Slight decrease in emergency room visits and stable SOS Médecins consultations across all age groups.

Scarlet fever

  • Oscour®: An increase in emergency room visits for scarlet fever among children under 15 was observed in February compared to January.

  • SOS Médecins: An increase in the monthly number of SOS Médecins consultations for scarlet fever among children under 15 has been observed since October.

Chickenpox

  • Oscour®: Decrease in activity following the peak observed in S11.

  • SOS Médecins: activity close to seasonal averages.
