Survival of Cancer Patients in Metropolitan France, 1989–2018 – Cutaneous Mature T/NK-Cell Lymphoma
In France, in 2018, the estimated number of new cases of cutaneous mature T/NK-cell lymphoma was 809, including 516 in men and 293 in women. Key points: A lymphoma with a favorable prognosis, with a 1-year standardized net survival rate of 95% and a 5-year rate of 85% for individuals diagnosed between 2010 and 2015; A trend toward better 1-year survival in women compared to men among older patients (80 years old at diagnosis): 95% in men and 90% in women; A decline in net survival based on age at diagnosis that is more pronounced after age 60: 97% at age 30 and 80% at age 80 at 5 years of follow-up; No improvement in net survival between 2005 and 2015 regardless of age at diagnosis and duration of follow-up.
