Key Points

In Week 22 (May 25–31, 2026), activity at SOS Médecins clinics increased compared to the previous week for children (+16.6%, or 4,046 more visits) and remained stable for adults.

Against a backdrop of rising temperatures in Week 22—unusually high for this time of year—we observed an increase in procedures:

  • Across all age groups for dehydration (+201%, or +135 cases), insect bites (+131%, or +1,103 cases), skin conditions (+59%, or +702 cases), and general malaise (+20%, or +63 cases), at levels higher than in previous years,
  • Among those under 15 and those aged 15–74 for allergies (+68%, or +1,534 visits), infectious conjunctivitis (+45%, or +507 visits), and isolated fever (+29%, or +242 visits), at levels comparable to previous years,
  • Among those aged 15–74 for asthma (+20%, or +98 cases), at levels comparable to previous years.

Finally, an increase in visits for chickenpox among children (+24%, or +161 visits) and for general health deterioration among those over 75 (+21%, or +62 visits) was also observed, at levels comparable to previous years.
