• In Week 39 (September 23–29, 2024), activity at SOS Médecins clinics remained stable overall (+0.6%), decreased among those under 15 years of age (-6%), and increased slightly among those 15 years of age and older (+3%).

• Unlike last week, the main respiratory indicators are down among those under 15, stable among those aged 15–74, and up among those aged 75 and older.

• Specifically, among those under 15, the decline involves cases involving suspected COVID-19 (-31%), asthma attacks (-23%), influenza/flu-like illness (-18%), acute bronchitis (-9%), and upper respiratory tract conditions (-8%). Among those aged 75 and older, the increases were in procedures for influenza/influenza-like illness (+33%, or +22 procedures), suspected COVID-19 (+22%, or +52 procedures), and upper respiratory tract conditions (+18%, or +58 procedures).

• Procedures for pertussis remain at very high levels compared to previous years and are decreasing among those under 15 (-11%) and increasing among those 15 and older (+20%, or +37 procedures). Procedures for pneumonia are increasing only among those aged 15 and older (+12%, or +104 procedures), reaching levels higher than in previous years.

• Among other indicators, it is worth noting the increase in procedures for conjunctivitis across all age groups (+12%, or +96 procedures).
