In week 39 (September 22–28, 2025), activity among SOS Médecins associations increased among children under 2 years of age (+5%, or +283 visits) and among those aged 75 and older (+6%, or +343 visits), and remained stable in other age groups.

This trend is primarily driven by respiratory conditions:

• Among children, there was an increase in procedures for upper respiratory tract conditions (+6%, or +205 procedures), bronchitis (+20%, or +29 procedures), bronchiolitis (+46%, or +66 procedures), cough (+13%, or +164 procedures), and various dental/ENT conditions (+32%, or +20 procedures). More specifically, among children aged 2–14, there was an increase in procedures for viral syndrome (+17%, +66 procedures) and suspected COVID-19 infection (+16%, +47 procedures), with patient numbers comparable to previous years.

• Among adults, there was also an increase in procedures for upper respiratory tract conditions (+9%, or 1,184 procedures), bronchitis (+25%, or 607 procedures), asthma attacks (+40%, or 257 procedures), and cough (+26%, or 298 procedures). Procedures for suspected COVID-19 infection also saw a moderate increase (+16%, or +313 procedures) at levels comparable to the previous year. Among those aged 15–74, there was an increase in procedures for various dental/ENT conditions (+6%, or +75 procedures) and influenza/flu-like syndrome (+21%, or +549 procedures). Finally, among those aged 75 and older, there was an increase in cases of pneumonia (+30%, or +77 cases).

There was also an increase in procedures related to acute digestive conditions: vomiting across all age groups (+12%, or +52 procedures), and gastroenteritis among those aged 2–14 (+6%, or +72 procedures).

Among other conditions, there was an increase in procedures for conjunctivitis (+27%, or +53 procedures), chickenpox (+16%, or +16 procedures), and trauma (+7%, or +46 procedures) among those aged 2–14. There was also an increase in cases of allergies among those aged 15 and older (+11%, or 68 more cases) and falls among those aged 75 and older (+29%, or 36 more cases).
