Key Points
In week 42 (October 13–19, 2025), activity at SOS Médecins clinics remained stable across all age groups.
The number of visits related to digestive disorders increased among children and adults:
gastroenteritis among those under 15 (+10%, or +185 cases) and those aged 15–74 (+8%, or +214 cases);
vomiting among children under two years old (+75%, or +30 cases) and those aged 75 and older (+38%, or +15 cases);
acute abdominal pain among those aged 2–14 (+10%, or +38 cases) and those aged 75 and older (+12%, or +16 cases).
Respiratory indicators were stable or declining this week across all age groups except among children under two years of age, where, in small numbers, there was an increase in cases for asthma (+17%, or +12 cases), suspected COVID-19 (+58%, or +11 cases), flu-like syndrome (+13%, or +8 visits), and acute bronchitis (+5%, or +11 visits). In this same age group, visits related to dental conditions were also on the rise (+44%, or +29 visits).
Among 2- to 14-year-olds, procedures for isolated fever were up (+15%, or +44 procedures), as were procedures for infectious conjunctivitis (+21%, or +61 procedures).
Finally, among adults, there was an increase in the number of procedures for:
depression among those aged 15–44 (+15%, or +24 cases) and anxiety among those aged 45 and older (+11%, or +47 cases);
general malaise among those aged 15–74 (+11%, or +19 cases);
urinary tract infections among those aged 75 and older (+10%, or +23 visits).
