Key Points
In Week 45 (November 3–9, 2025), the week marking the return to school after the fall break, activity at SOS Médecins clinics increased compared to the previous week among children, particularly those aged 2–14 (+17%, or +2,599 visits), and remained stable among adults.
There was an increase in cases:
For vomiting (+50%, or +215 cases), acute abdominal pain (+34%, or +597 cases), and gastroenteritis (+30%, or +1,292 cases, the second most common diagnosis in week 45), across all age groups;
For trauma among 2- to 14-year-olds (+60%, or +287 cases) and among 15- to 74-year-olds (+12%, or +292 cases), with figures higher than in the previous two years;
For influenza/influenza-like illness among those under 15 years of age (+51%, or +232 cases) and among those aged 15–74 (+10%, or +202 cases), and for viral syndrome among those aged 2–14 (+57%, or +129 visits) and among those aged 15–74 (+28%, or +128 visits);
For isolated fever in children under 15 (+9%, or +46 visits) and in those aged 15–74 (+20%, or +31 visits);
For anxiety among those under 15 years old (+171%, or +36 visits) and those aged 15–44 (+19%, or +168 visits) and for depressive symptoms among those aged 15–44 (+30%, or +53 visits), with figures higher than in the previous two years;
For general malaise among those aged 2–14 (+47%, or +8 cases) and those aged 15–74 (+34%, or +55 cases).
