Key Points
In Week 23 (June 2–8, 2025), compared to the previous week, activity at SOS Médecins clinics decreased among children (-12%, or -3,031) and adults aged 75 and older (-7%, or -453), while it remained stable among those aged 15–74.
There was an increase in cases of gastroenteritis among those aged 15–64 (+15%, or 419 cases), vomiting (+21%, or 54 cases) among adults, and acute abdominal pain among children aged 2–14 (+19%, or 78 cases).
Additionally, among adults aged 15–64, there was an increase in procedures for anxiety (+17%, or 202 procedures) in the second week, with higher numbers than in previous years, and to a lesser extent for depressive states (+7%, or 18 procedures).
Among other indicators, there was an increase in procedures for insect bites among those aged 15–74 (+7%, or 39 procedures), for viral syndrome among children (+15%, or 61 procedures), and for stomatology/ENT among children under 2 years of age (+33%, or 27 procedures). In addition, although the numbers are very small, there was an increase in procedures for conjunctivitis (+55%, or +11 procedures) and isolated fever (+35%, or +18 procedures) among those aged 75 and older.
