Key Points

• In Week 14 (March 31–April 6, 2025), activity at SOS Médecins clinics remained stable across all age groups compared to the previous week (+2.1%, or +1,833 procedures).

• Across all age groups, there was an increase in medical procedures compared to Week 13 for allergies (+59%, or 1,008 procedures, with figures higher than in previous years for the same period among adults), asthma (+26%, or +282 cases), insect bites (+41%, or +81 cases), and infectious conjunctivitis (+6%, or +75 cases). Consultations for gastroenteritis remained stable compared to the previous week, but at levels higher than those of the past three years.

• Among children, nearly all monitored indicators are stable or declining. However, there was an increase in medical procedures for scarlet fever and viral syndrome, albeit at moderate levels (respectively +15%, or +20 procedures, and +5%, or +20 procedures).

• Among adults, there was an increase in medical visits for anxiety (+9%, or +110 visits, at levels higher than in previous years) and isolated fever (+15%, or +41 visits). Among those aged 15–64 only, there was also an increase in cases for upper respiratory tract conditions (+5%, or +622 cases), trauma (+12%, or +257 cases, at levels higher than in previous years), and, to a moderate extent, for COVID-19 (+38%, or +59 cases). Among those aged 75 and older only, there was an increase in medical procedures for general health deterioration (+36%, or +77 procedures), low back pain/sciatica (+14%, or +34 procedures), and acute abdominal pain (+20%, or +28 procedures).
