Summary

  • Outpatient visits and hospitalizations are stable across all age groups, with the exception of children under 2 years of age, among whom outpatient visits and hospitalizations are decreasing.

  • Among the most common diagnoses observed last week, neurological disorders are on the rise across all age groups. The same is true for abdominal pain in children under 15, as well as for chest pain and anxiety disorders in adults.

  • Emergency department visits for general malaise are slightly up across all age groups, with numbers slightly higher than in the previous two years.

  • Emergency department visits for seasonal conditions (gastroenteritis, isolated fever, asthma, allergies, insect bites, and heat-related illnesses) are decreasing across all age groups, with numbers equivalent to or slightly higher than those of the previous two years.
