In Week 32 (August 4–10, 2025), the number of emergency department visits and the number of hospitalizations following a visit remained stable compared to the previous week for both children and adults.

Among seasonal indicators, there was an increase in emergency department visits for:

• Hyperthermia/heatstroke, across all age groups, with numbers three times higher than in Week 31 of 2025 (i.e., +109 visits across all ages), compared to figures observed in previous years during this period;

• Dehydration, across all age groups (+28%, or +92 visits across all ages);

• Allergies, across all age groups (+5%, or 161 more visits across all ages);

• Insect bites among adults (+8%, or 78 more visits).

Among other indicators, there was also an increase in emergency room visits for:

• Respiratory conditions: asthma attacks among adults (+8%, or +73 visits) and among those aged 75 and older: pneumonia (+8%, or +142 visits) and suspected COVID-19 (+15%, or +25 visits);

• Malaise in adults (+7%, or +792 visits) and isolated fever in those aged 15–74 (+9%, or +94 visits);

• Urinary tract infection in those aged 75 and older (+8%, or +135 visits);

• Chickenpox in children (+20%, or +31 visits);

• Suicidal behavior among those aged 65 and older (+37%, or +45 visits).
